The Site
Ruby Raindrops was started as a small and humble site mainly for the fun of making it! The graphics side of it started after I was searching the net for GIMP tutorials and was very unsuccessful. After realizing that there must be tons of other beginners out there with the same problem, I decided to do something about it. With the inspiration of Syndarys' tutorials I began to write them and continued to do so on my old site. Then, I decided to switch over to a CSS Layout and dicovered that Angelfire would not accomadate it! So, I managed to sneak over to Bravenet, make my new layout and the rest is what you see right now!

My name is Katie, although I've adopted the name Ruby... I have no idea why, I just did, and I live Canada.

I'm now addicted to writing and maintaining the website, but I also love reading, photo editing and icon making with GIMP, Drawing Anime, using Livejournal Communities, and hanging around with friends! My favorite movies are How the Grinch Stole Christmas, Harry Potter, Princess Bride, Star Wars, Disney's Atlantis: Lost Empire, Peter Pan (New Version), Monty Python and MANY others! I love fantasy books like King of the Castle by Meriol Trevor, Harry Potter, Princess Bride by William Goldman Ella Enchanted... sheesh, there's too many to list! Hello Kitty is one of my favouritist things in the WORLD! I'm a Christian and I love going to the church youth group! I really hope you enjoy and get something out of the site! Happy Surfing! -Ruby
